National College Depression Partnership

The National College Depression Partnership (NCDP) supports college health systems and clinicians in providing optimal care through the use of outcomes measurements and collaborative learning.

Since 2006, more than 42 colleges and universities have together:

  • Screened over 300,000 students for depression in primary care settings and improved treatment engagement for depressed students
  • Enhanced care as demonstrated by clinical and functional outcomes data from over 3,000 depressed students attending participating institutions; this data exceeds that achieved through usual community based care.
  • Benchmarked use of evidence-based practices and treatment outcomes

The next step in the sequence of work of NCDP is to scale and spread the methods, models, and best practices developed and tested through four demonstration projects.
